I spent 3 1/2 hours on the river with Phil. The scenery was fantastic, his guidance and expertise was unmatched. I personally caught at least two dozen beautiful trout. We kept the best five of the bunch (legal limit) and released the rest.
After it was all over, once we got back to shore, he cooked them all up, as well as fries. There is nothing like eating fresh-out-of-the-river trout. Delicious!
All in all, an experience I've never had and one that will last a lifetime.

Phil is a great guide that took my husband and I down the White River. We have experienced this multiple times throughout the years and each time has been very enjoyable! With each guide, he would take the boat down to the best fishing spots where we would catch good sized brown or rainbow trout. Additionally he would provide us insight of the Bull Shoals Dam as well as local stories of area. He is very knowledgeable and an expert guide and definitely shows his clients a great time. Anyone who is looking for a fishing guide, he’s your guide!
